This RIDGID bolt cutter features a center cut that has a 7/16-inch capacity for soft metals, a 3/8-inch capacity for medium metals and a 5/16-inch capacity for hard metals. The overall tool length is 26 inches.

One-step internal cam mechanism provides the quickest and simplest way to keep the cutting blades precisely aligned. The handles and grips are designed to allow greater mechanical advantage for crisp, controlled cutting. The S24 Bolt Cutter has a center cut. It has multiple capacities for different types of metal. For Soft Steel and nonferrous metals, such as bolts, screws, rivets, and wire, the capacity is 7/16-inch for soft metals. For Iron and steel the capacity is 3/8-inch for medium metals. For Stainless steel, spring wire, heat-treated rod, and reinforcing rod, the capacity is 5/16-inch for hard metals.
